To our delight, this year Leckerlee expanded their offering to a new size, and along with that we had the opportunity to design & illustrate a total of 4 new tins. When the season hit, Whole Foods Market adorned their entranceways with large displays of the tins, along with Dean & Deluca, Wegmans, and our very own Bi-Rite Market!

For the Alpine tin we illustrated a snowy scene from a little village, filled with hillsides, cottages, a train and churches. The drum tin is a classic favorite with a bold graphic with bright Christmassy colors. The New York tin was painted with scenes cherished from city life in the winter, and the Winter Haus tin utilizes a stained glass motif to illustrate the intricate half-timbered houses that still remain in small towns all over Germany.

In addition, last season we had the pleasure of illustrating a folk art tin, in a wintery white and gold. This is one of our all-time favorites, and we wanted to share it here. The New York, Winter Haus and Folk Art tins were so popular, they completely sold out before the new year (sorry, folks). Hopefully some of them will make a return appearance next fall.
