ABOUT THE FIRM

Strohl is a design company based in San Francisco. With expertise in visual brand identity, our work has been featured in publications such as Communication Arts, Wired, The Type Directors Club and has been nominated for three James Beard awards. We focus on the whole enchilada, integrating a brand story and visual identity seamlessly, encouraging customers to identify with you without a long explanation. Christine Celic Strohl, Principal

Christine Celic Strohl specializes in creating immersive and lush aesthetics for specialty retail, boutiques, hotels and restaurants from New York to to Dubai. Formerly Senior Art Director at eccentric New York City firm Mucca Design, she spent nearly a decade working with a myriad of colorful clients. With a background in psychology, she combines an empathy for the consumer experience with her natural talent creating unique and memorable visuals. Nominated for 3 James Beard Awards for Excellence in Restaurant Design, Christine’s work has been featured in multiple books and publications, including the AIGA, Type Directors Club, Print, How, Step, and Communication Arts.



Eric Janssen Strohl, Principal

Eric Janssen Strohl is a San Francisco based designer who specializes in trademark, logo and typographic design. With prior experience working with Eric Baker Design in New York City, he has created prominent marks for an eclectic collection of individuals, companies and organizations. In recent years, while at international design firm IDEO, he traveled the world working on large scale innovation projects for some of the most recognized names in business. His work has been featured in the Type Directors Club, Print, How, Step, Communication Arts as well as other publications. In 2007 he was named one of Print Magazine’s top 20 designers under 30.
