Specializing in piviotal works across a broad range of subject matter, Gitterman Gallery is a destination for the connoisseur of photographic art in Manhattan.
An understated typographic mark maintains its clean yet distinctive feel, while the use of 2 medium shades of grey reflects the gallery’s focus on black & white photography from the past. Based off of the slab-serif typeface Clarendon to evoke the spirit of New York, the redrawn letters are extended and sleeker than the originals. The type style was designed to compliment the artwork it means to represent, without overpowering it.

Applications extend to magazine ads, signage, web templates, and individual opening announcements.
