The first imprint started over a decade ago by one of Penguin Book’s senior publishers, Gotham Books pays homage to the city it calls home.
The mark incorporates a striking representation of the quintessential Manhattan skyscraper, with the visual pun of a stack of open books.

In its simplest form, reduced on a book spine, it evokes the energy, excitement, and history of Manhattan.
To complete the aesthetic, letterhead and business cards were designed only in black and white paying tribute to the 1930s.
